No power, takes a while to get up to speed

Car runs great engine revved up in neutral. In drive won’t rev up car barley moves. Throttle only goes up to 1,000 rpm's it takes a while to get up to speed.

There are a number of things this could be. Here is a video that runs through the basic causes of this:

Basically you have what is called low power. This is typically caused when the there is a load on the engine like you are seeing.
