Engine shuts off as soon as I start it. I know this is a safety feature for the engine. I have changed the oil pump, cleaned the oil pan and pump screen. I am at a loss.
Please note: This vehicle is an eight cylinder not a four cylinder.

Good evening,

This sounds light a security issue, not an oil pressure issue.

Does the theft light go off after the key is turned on in about 10 seconds?

Okay, then the next step is to do a manual oil pressure test to see if it is either a real oil pressure issue or the sender unit is sending a false signal.

Remove the sender unit and insert a manual gauge and crank up the motor and see if it has oil pressure.
