I've checked and there's flow to and from the heater core but I get no hot air. Where is the temperature mix door located? What can I do to make a quick change to have heat until I can fix it?

Hi,

On this vehicle, the blend air door is actuated by a cable. It may or may not simply need adjusted. Here are directions for adjustment.

4. Disconnect air mix door cable (1) from clamp (A).
5. Set temperature control dial to full cold position.
6. Push air mix door link (2) in the direction as shown, and then carefully pulling outer cable to A/C control side, and connect clamp.
7. Operate temperature control dial to insure that inner cable moves smoothly.

CAUTION:
When clamping the outer cable, never move the inner cable.

If it needs replaced, let me know. If you can't get it repaired at this time, you should be able to move the air temp door by hand to get heat. However, you will need to reverse it to stop the heat.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
