The heater in my car will only blow out heat during the warm months. As soon as it gets below roughly forty degrees it stops producing any heat. It does not blow out cold air, it just does not do anything. We get really cold, snowy winters so driving without heat is not really an option. It is an old car that otherwise runs well.

Try pulling HVAC fuse inside car for sixty seconds with key on it may reset actuators and heat may work otherwise the blend door actuator is no good or not getting power this is assuming hoses are hot. If auto temperature control it must be scanned by a mechanic to see what is wrong.
