My girlfriend bought the truck and it was not running. She was told it was the flywheel, but when I checked it the flywheel was fine. The truck cranks, but it wont start. I am not getting any fire to the coil. I started with the battery because I own a Ford myself and I know how many problems that it can cause in a Ford. So I changed out he bad terminals, but it did not change. I ran resistance tests on the coil and it was fine, so I swapped the crank sensor, but no change. I talked to one of my auto tech teachers and he said see if I have battery voltage at the coil connector. If not then the ICM is more than likely bad if the coil tests good and the crank sensor is new.

You want to check the EEC (main power) relay and the fuses that supply it.

The power for the coil comes directly from the fuse in the diagram.
