Car would not start, turn over but no start. Had it towed home. When try to start seemed ign. Switch would stick in start position. Replaced ignition switch with new one. Still no start. Figured out that it had no fuel pressure and would start with start fluid. Fuel pump wasn't turning on. Changed fuel pump with new one. Fuel pump no run. No power to pump. Checked fuel pump fuse good had power. Relay clicked when ignition turned on. Checked power to relay #30 no power, 87 has power, 86 gets power key on. Dont know how to get power back to #30 on relay in fuse box should be hot all the time? Also bypassed large plug that goes thru floor gray and black wires to fuel pump. When I disconnect gray wire to fuel pump and run 12v power from battery to gray fuel pump wire pump runs and car will start and run. While car running showing 12+v from gray wire that should feed pump, but if gray wire from pump connected to the gray wire that should feed pump loose power and car stalls. Cleaned all contacts in plug connectors and no damaged wires found inside car or under the car going to fuel tank. Fuel pump runs if 12v applied so figure pump has ground. Not sure how to disassemble under hood fuse box to check wire to #30 on pump relay?

The power of the fuel pump through the relay is the fuel pump fuse in the fuse panel with the fuel pump relay which is hot all the time, does the fuse have power on both sides? This guide can help.

The grey wire goes to the fuel pump, the blk/wht wire is ground for the relay. Please go over this guide and get back to us.
