No crank when key is turned on?

2003 CHEVROLET IMPALA

I have the car listed above that has no crank at all when turning key , so far I checked the battery cables, the fuses are in good working order the crank fuse has power, when key is turned , the relay has power at pin# 30, the other two pins have power when key is on , the only power I do not have is the ignition pin on crank relay but as soon as remove the negative cable from battery I have power to that pin. The starter purple wires which runs directly to starter has power but there is a fusible link on the starter which goes to the generator. I’m thinking I have short to ground maybe on purple wire or either a burnt out fusible link. Please help and help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you have power to the purple wire at the starter when in the crank position the starter is bad or the main positive battery cable is bad. Do you loose power at the large starter lug when in the crank position? If so the battery is bad or the cable. This video can help as well:

Can I ask if the purple power wire losses voltage when cranked? I need a little more information help you.

I have no power on abs/pcm when I turn the key on , I have power on the purple wire and does not lose voltage when cranked.

If you have power at the purple wire at the starter and it is not cranking over, the starter motor is bad. I would get an replacement, but maybe check if the engine can be rotated, please go over this video to see what I am talking about.

Also, make sure the positive and negative battery cables are on good shape. Please upload an image or short videos in your response
