Hoses correctly hooked up to the firewall. Fan works correctly, but no air is being pushed into the cabin. Was formerly a V6 A/C car but everything removed during engine swap to 355 V8 for what it's worth. Help, winter's coming. :-)

Hi,

If you are getting nothing regardless of mode selection, something has to be blocking the air box or by accident, wiring to the blower motor was reversed and it's sucking air from the cabin. LOL Don't laugh. I've seen it done before.

Because of the model year, I have very little info. However, the blower assembly located under the hood is basically mounted to a large opening on the firewall. If you haven't, pull the blower motor off and see if there are any obstructions.

One other thing. Some of these vehicles' mode operation was done using engine vacuum and others a cable. By chance, do you know which you have? It's has been a while, but I believe you can turn the unit to the off position. If the actuator isn't working, it could be blocking the airflow as well.

Let me know as much as you can. Also, check to make sure nothing is blocking the air inlet for the system at the cowl. See pic below.

Take care,

Joe
