My daughter's car, when you turn on the heat or air there is absolutely no air movement. Was told that the compressor did not work, but that has no effect on the blowing itself. I was wondering if blower motor or resistor could be the problem? If so are they difficult to change at home?

The resistor may be by the blower motor, but check fuse and relay under hood for blower those can be bad along with the switch. The blower relay is on right hand side of firewall.
