One of my windshield wiper does not work. The driver side wiper works but the passenger side does not work. We had a lot of ice and snow lately.

Does each wiper have a separate motor?

could it be a fuse?

Hi u863999,

Thank you for the donation.

The wipers uses a common motor and your problem should be a dislodged wiper link. You need to check if the link joints are worn.

Are you sure the year model is correct? I could only find Xterra for year 2000 onwards.

The windshield wipers do not work when its in an "on" position, but they do work when you use the wash function and the go for two or three turns. The car is with my kids in college so I am trying to get them an answer to fix the problem. Thanks.

my windshield wipers (front) will not work. This happened after a heavy snow fell off the top roof onto them. They try to move a hair but will not perform.

The drivers side windshield wipers do not work. Sometimes it want to move with the other wiper but does not move. You can move the windshield wiper yourself but will not move in sync with the other wiper. The passenger side wiper can not move manually.

there is no sound coming from the pump however the wiper fluid works on the rear wiper system. It was suggested that it may be the washer pump/motor is this possible and how hard is it to change? I also was told you have to take the whole side fender apart. Please help
