2-3 weeks ago, I cranked my truck and could not get the stick shift (on the column) to engage. After several minutes and attempts, I finally was able to slip it into gear. I drove home, put in in park, and the same thing happened. Once again, I finally got it to go into gear. I left it in neutral and took it to a Nissan dealer the next day. Of course, when they checked it out, it went in and out of Park perfectly. I've had no issues for 2-3 weeks until today. I press on the brake and try to work it loose. It eventually slips into gear.

Hi Forest10s, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

You have a problem within the shift interlock control system-your probable causes here could be one of the following below the ASCD cancel switch, shift lock control solenoid and the park position switch-Refer to the shlft lock control circuit diagram. With electrical experiences you can tackle this easily

If it comes out blurry or unreadable give me you email addy
