1987 Nissan Truck Keeps draining batteries

This truck seems to keep draining every new battery that we put in it and will not start. The ignition was messed up by a friend not to long ago and I can not figure out what is the problem is. Can someone please help me.

Could be the ignition switch shorting out internally and draining the battery out overnite that is more than the normal allowable parastic draw.

Get the electrical system checked out for a direct short to ground-

Ok, well I was concidering buying a whole new ignition but would there be a way for me to install it or would you recommend a proefessional?
