1987 Nissan 4X4 truck starter

The motor is a z24. It has about 70000 miles on it. It is also a 4 cyllider. For a couple of days the starter sounded like it was dragging. Then finally it just quit working at all. We bought a new one and replaced it but it still wont start. When we try to turn it on it wont do anything.

Check the ignition switch, clutch switch for manual, inhibitor switch for Auto, starter relay and the starter. Dragging sounds like the overrunning clutch is gone or its not getting full battery voltage due to bad connections.
