valve adjustment

How do I adjust the valves on my 1990 nissan sentra auto trans 1.8 ltr engine 270,00 miles runs great but valves need to be adjusted.

Run engine till warmed-up-shutdown

Put no.1 cylinder on its compression stroke-adjust intake valve .009-.019 and exhaust valve .012-.023 then follow the firing order for the next cyl.
