I have a 1994 Nissan Sentara, standard, 2 door XE. It has 130,000 miles on it. I recently purchased this car for $1000. My question is what maintenance should be done on it and when is the timing belt supposed to be replaced. Thanks for all the help.

Timing belts sometimes never have to be changed but should be examined about every half year. Take off the valve cover and look at it if its cracked or loose change it. For maitnence id put in new plugs new fuel filter new spark plug wires check the rotor in the distributor, change oil, check tranny fluid, examine the breaks.
