How often should you check or replace timing chain? 04 Nissan Sentra 1.8 symptoms of one that's going bad?

Timing chains dont have time limits. Usually they get noisy when going bad but it's not the chain but the tensioner and guides that fail. 94k is low for such a thing to be happening
