Noises problem
2009 Nissan Sentra Manual

i hear this rattling/vibrating sound by the driver's door after i start the engine and whenever i lock the doors using the remote. The locks still functions, but the sound is really alarming.. i am not very familiar with cars.. i just want to know what causes the sound and how will one repair such problem?

Hi there,

with the door open give it a good shake, can you hear anything moving? if so you will have to have the trim removed to inspect the inner door items fore something that has broken or come loose, start here.

I already tried shaking the door, i don't hear anything lose/shaky inside. A friend told me that the problem maybe electrical, since i could heard the vibrtations only when i try to lock the door using remote.
He said something about power lock actuator? How will i know if it is really the actuator? more clues please.. thanks!

Hi there,

i feel it is time to remove the door trim, activate the door lock and feel the actuator, you will feel any vibration,it should just click in and out.
