I wanting to know if I may have a problem with my indignition switch? When I had my car serviced they did a test diganostic test and everything came back fine. But at least once a day usually around my 3rd or 4th start up I have problems with hesitation in start up. If it starts to do I, I try to start up again and it cranks. I had the starter and alternator checked and the battery all were fine. I would like to know could the indignition switch be the problem? How would that be covered under powertrain warranty?

Hi MO MO,

When you said hesistation in startup, is it the starter feels like it wants to crank but just got stuck?

If it is, then it could be the ignition switch, wire from ignition to starter solenoid, starter poor carbon contact or a failing battery(high rate discharge is poor).

Ignition switch is an electrical item.

I don't know about the warranty so you need to check it locally.
