Car was fine at 6am - wouldn't start at 7:30am. Dashboard lights come on - radio, windows, headlights all work - but no ignition. There's no click, no trying to turn over, nothing. Starter was replaced ~1 yr. Ago. Any suggestions?

First of all thank you so much for your donation. We need to make sure your battery cable's are clean and tight and your battery is good. Even though your light's are coming on your starter take's a lot more power to turn over. Also do you have a test light or a multimeter? So we can trace power to see why it's not turning over. Check those thing's I asked you to then get back to me.

Thanks for getting back with me so quickly. Battery cables are fine - don't have a test light but know someone with a multimeter so will borrow it this evening. What do we need to do with it once we get it?

I emailed you a starter wire diagram so you can follow where i tell you to test.I would start by testing the black and yellow wire at the starter S terminal if you have have battery voltage to that wire when your key is in the start position and the other black and yellow wire has battery voltage to it the big wire then you have a bad starter.Let me know what you find.

If you have voltage to those two wire's and the starter doesn't work then it's the starter. Glad to hear you have it figured out. Do you need instruction's on how to replace the starter?
