1997 Nissan Sentra Rattle

I have a 1997 Nissan Sentra and about 4 months ago it began to make a rattling sound when I turned to the right. I had my u joint replaced and this didn't take care of it, they could not figure it out that day. I took it back, another mechanic looked at it and he couldn't figure it out either. It has continued to make the noise as I turn right. Tonight for the first time it made the noise and a loud unusual noise when I started my car. The normal rattle lingered for a bit, and then stopped. It did continue when I turned to the right. Any ideas?

The info provided is not very comprehensive so is not going to be easy.

Is the rattling noise when the engine is started and turning the same or similar?

I would suspect it to be the catalytic converter.
