1997 Nissan Sentra 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

I took this car to the dealer for diagnostics. They told me that it needed a Mass airflow sensor/meter. I replaced it, but, the engine still does the same thing. It acts as if somethin is turning off and on the injectors. There are no fuel blockages and pump is fine. What else could it be? It barely runs under a load.

Hi tommythesignguy,

Vacumn leakages would cause such a problem. Check if any vacumn hoses needs replacement or has been dislodged. They would create an image the Air Flow meter is faulty too.

Other things to check would be the PCV and ISC.
