1996 Nissan Sentra Two Wheel Drive Automatic 104000 miles

WHY DOES MY CAR IDLE SO HIGH WHEN I PUT IT IN DRIVE AND WHEN I PUSH THE BRAKE IN. IT STILL IDLES HIGH!

Reduce the idle. Locate your accelerator cable, loosen the two screw nuts, and adjust accordingly. One way it will go higher, the opposite will go lower. Once you get to 700 +/- 50 rpm, tighten the two nuts.
