Electrical problem
1993 Nissan Sentra 4 cyl Automatic

My car mysteriously loses power, randomly.I can be driving down the road, and my lights will become dimmer, the volume on my stereo gets lower and lower and I know my car is about to die.I pull off to the side and wait a minute or two then crank the car up and everything is as if it was normal. My alternator and battery are tested fine at 3 different locations.I have checked for all exposed wires and even changed my battery cable terminals, and alternator belt tension is fine. Any ideas on why this might be happening?

If is has a bad contact when it heats up it 'll break open the circuit 1st thing to happen is the ignition system will be out and no power to the coil equals no spark to include the EFI system-no fuel

Overall could be a wiring problem on the alternator to the ignition switch or the switch itself
