I have a 1992 Nissan Sentra. I replaced the cap and rotor, plugs and wires about 1 year ago. I recently replaced a fuel injector. There have been no other repairs to the vehicle. When I push on the gas pedal the care sputters a bit and does it when I shift gears, too. It seems to go away after I hit higher RPM's. It doesn't do it while the car is driving.....ONLY when I push the gas pedal. It doesn't stall out at all and it drives like it is on glass. It doesn't to this all the time and there aren't any dash lights on stating there is a problem. What are some things I can check?

Explain what I'm looking for if a wire is "Arching"... I replaced the injector about 5 months ago, but I just put new "o" rings on that injector last weekend because it was leaking gas from the injector.

If one of the wires is arching do I replace the plug that goes with that wire or do I replace all the wires?

Could this problem be caused by a bad sensor?

well i would replace all the wires just because there fairly cheap but im sure you can get away with just replacing one if you either saved your old ones or can find a place to just buy one not too sure if they sell them in singles...does the engine still jump if its not in gear?

The problem only exists when I step on the gas.
