I recently bought a new alternator installed on my car, start my car and work good few minutes later stop working. I took the alternator back to the store they check it and it wasn't working, we get a new one put it back and the same story. What could the problem be? Is there something else I need to check before starting my car? Thanks

As you are going to the parts store for the new alternator, bring them your battery and have them test it. If it low on charge, have them charge it. The new alternator that you will be getting the parts store, have them test it on their test machine to make sure that you are getting a good unit.

Other that possibly crossing the battery cables, there is no other explanation for the alternator to go bad after a few minutes.
