1990 Nissan Sentra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

After the flood that hit metro manila, oil in the oil pan is not coming up to the engine. Removing the dip stick showed oil on its original level. The engine is too noisy when running. Could it be that sludges are preventing the oil pump to do its job?

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge this will tell you if the oil pump is doing its job
