my nissan sentra 1989 is to accelarated I can find the screw in the carburator to decrese its speed

Look for a vacuum leak.

There is no carb on that one and the idle is computer controlled.

Are you still having this trouble?

If the 4th digit from the left on your VIN is a "G" ( 1.6 L GA16i TBI then it does have not one but two idle screws besides the computer control which is also adjustable (at least mine is). I haven't tried it but that is what it says on the back of the computer that is under the front passenger seat (I found that after I manually set it). The fast idle screw is easy to get to because it is on top. For the base idle speed I had to buy a flexible screwdriver.

Be careful and don't poke your eye out. Crawl up over the TBI unit and look straight at the drivers side rear. Work the gas cable back and forth and you should be able to find the screw.
