I just purchaced this vehicle knowing the problem. The computer was cleared of faults.I took it out for a test drive, and the car bucked violently. The computer flashed out a"airflow meter/ground circuit".I noticed that someone before me added a ground wire into the airflow meter wiring harness. I cleaned and replaced the engine compartment grounds, that I could find, then tested the airflow meter both in and out of the car, the meter is OK.
It seems as though computer is not recieving the signal from theairflow sensor

Hi there,

You will have to start with back probing the air flow meter pins back to the ECU, check for continuity and high resistance, start here.

Now I have tested the air flow meter, and the wiring harness. The harness wires all had the same resistance. What do you sugest doing next?

Hi there,

If all is OK in the loom, I feel it is time to get the ECU tested, you may be getting an internal fault there.
