1997 Nissan Quest heater

The van runs cold it does'nt reach normal running temp. The heater blows luke warm air I think the thermastat is not opening all the way because the top hose of the radiator is staying hard any ideas of what might be wrong?

I would start with the thermostat, but before you do that check your coolant level to make sure its full if so then check thermostat if this checks out post back and I will help you with this problem

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
