I have a Nissan Pulsar LX.

all the electricals in the car still work but there is no spark going to the spark plugs and the battery is fully charged and there seems to be no blown fuses,

Hi there,

Has his mechanic done a scan as yet, it is very unusual to have an ECU fail, they do, but not very often, there are a number of things that can cause this, but you first need to do a full diagnostic test to start sorting out this problem, not just changing expensive pieces of electronics.
