2001 Nissan Pathfinder Dash Brake Light and Battery Light

Durring starring today both lights came on and never went off unless car is off. Checked Alternator belt and Brake Fluid, Tried the hand brake to see if this was the switch. Can not tell if this is electical or double mechanical problem.

3 weeks ago I did replace old battery and had clean charging test and replaced terminal connections.

Brake Pads are only 10 month old.
Brakes seem to work fine.

Have alternator tested. Usually brake light comes on with the charge indicator as well so right now lets just diagnose the charging system and I believe the brake light will go away as well.
