1993 Nissan Pathfinder clutch not working

1993 Nissan Pathfinder 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

hi i own a 1993 nissan pathfinder SUV, the frame rusted out on the thing but i still like to run and drive it once and a while. so this time and go and try it drive it the cluth doesnt work. when i push it in it goes to the floor it just stays down, then i have to pull it up with my hand or foot. even when the clutch is down i CAN NOT go into any gears. does anyone no what is wrong??

note: the nissan has been sitting for a while since the last time i drove it (6 mounth or more) also my kids were playing in it at one time (pushing the pedals)

Hi there,

what you have I feel is a failed clutch slave or master cylinder, check the fluid level and if empty check for fluid leaks at both cylinders, check under the dash where the clutch master push rod is check under the boot on the slave on the side of the gear box as well.
