Vehicle: 1988 nissan pathfinder, 2 door, 4wd, 50,000 miles, 3.0 ltr v6

I have a nissan pathfinder that is leaking brake fluid. It is leaking half the resivior a day. The brake fluid is leaking from where the master cylinder connects to the brake booster. What needs to be done? Is the master cylinder in need of being replaced or is the brake booster in need of being replaced. How do I tell? Its leaking like crazy! Please someone help!
thanks
