95 Nissan p/u won't run

I have a 95 nissan p/u with 54,000 miles. The other day I was driving and all of a suddent the engin quit. I tries to re-start, but all that happens is the engine rough idles and when you give it gas it stalls. I have dis connected the fuel filter and turned on the trucck. Gas pumps out of the filter. I checked the air intale & filter for clogs. What should I try next?
