1995 Other Nissan Models bottam end bearing?

Hi my primera is making rattling noises when started up and occasionally when im driving? Ive been told its the bottam end bearing but im not sure.
how much around about is a bottam end bearing if done by a mechanic?

Hi there,

This is just to hard to price until it is dismantled and inspected, as there are to many variables to consider, dose it need rings, is the crankshaft in need of re grinding, oil pump, etc.
