1998 Nissan Micra Heater not working

Heater problem
1998 Nissan Micra

The heater on our Micra has been playing up recently.

We've fitted a new thermostat, flushed through the heater rad (which is getting nice and hot) and the fan motor is whirring away quite happily.

Unfortunately there is no air being blown through the vents.

Any help/advice would be much appreciated, thank you.

You have a jammed/broken blend door inside the heater blower unit !

Can the blend door be accessed from the footwell or is this likely to be a 'dashboard out' job?

The blend door is internal of the heater blower box. You will have to remove the heater box

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
