Automatic Reclining Seats

2000 Nissan Maxima- I have automatic reclining seats on the drver side and it no longer works. The Foward and Backward is working but the reclining up and down is not. I'm thinking its a problem with the wiring. Is there any way I can fix this myself with a manual or do I have to bring it into the shop?

Can you hear the seat motor when you push the switch, if so a cable might have broken, of not you should be able to unplug the motor from under the seat, and test the wiring to see if the switch even works
