2007 Nissan Maxima battery

The battery for three years kept getting corroded the positive terminal. I was told car wasnt driven enough is this a possible cause

No this is not the cause, this is what really happens....

Now that you are totally confused ...lol all you have to do is keep the terminal posts tight and ensure that the terminals are a neat fit and use a good quality terminal anti corrosion treatment, you can get this from all good auto parts stores.
