CV Joints/Boots. I am being charged $800 for the cv joints to be replaced. This price seems a little high, I was wondering if you could give me any information. I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima.

Labor should probably be around 300-400.
Genuine Nissan CV shafts ARE very expensive.

Perhaps you could ask your shop to consider aftermarket parts.

Check with Midas. They usually advertise CV axle replacement for about $200.
