I found oil in a couple of the spark plug wells. I understand that this could mean the valve cover gasket or O-rings need replacement. Is this difficult for a do-it-yourselfer? Ballpark figure, how much would this run if I paid a professional do fix it?

Thanks.

Hello -

Sorry so long to get back with you. . ...minor technical difficulties.

Okay. . ..I have attached a rough estimate for you on just the valve covers. . ..as you see about $200 depending on where you get it done at.

You can get the parts for about $52 at Auto Zone and do it yourself and even replace a few more items.

I think you could do it yourself. . ..if you have any mechanical ability and some tools. . .metric..

I would be more than happy to walk you through it or we could discuss it and that way you could see if you felt comfortable doing it yourself.

Just let me know.
