Computer problem
1999 Nissan Maxima 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 162000 miles

The mfrg date says 7.98 but the car was sold as 1999.

Diagnosis shows both P305 and P325 codes. Could these two codes be related? If so which repair should be tried first--the misfire or replacing the sensor? That is, are they separate problems or would fixing the sensor, for example, perhaps take care of the misfire?

Also, is cylinder 5 on the driver's side rear of the engine?

Thanks.

Knock sensors are common failure items on nissans. have to find out what the misfire is from. Most of the time it is the coil for that cylinder, but injectors fail also.
