Engine Performance problem
1998 Nissan Maxima 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 160k miles

I have a 98 nissan maxima with 160k miles and it's misfiring badly. I got it diagnosed and they said its a cylender 3 misfire, so I changed my coil packs with 3 and 1 and now it says multiple misfire. I just changed all my plugs and its still doing it. It was also misfiring before I changed my new plugs.

Engine running rough or misfiring can be cause by the following:
1. Defective spark plug.
2. Inadequate spark/coil, defective spark plug wire.
3. Lack of compression
4. False air leakage.
5. Faulty fuel injectors.
6. Insufficient fuel pressure.
7. Contaminated fuel.
8. EGR valve that is leaking.
9. Oxygen sensors.
