1998 Nissan Maxima engine misfire

P0301, misfire cylinder #1, located on the passenger side engine on the rear, behind the firewall. There is not spark plug wires, but is replaced with an ignition coil, with built in transistor, there fore, no distributor cap and rotor, you can do some simple tests, First, remove #1 ignition coil and swap it with cylinder #3, which is next to it, clear your codes and start the engine, if you have code P0303 now, then the ignition coil is what needs to be change at minimum.
