1996 Nissan Maxima Starting possible engine light is on.

1996 Nissan Maxima 6 cyl Automatic 213, 00 miles

I have change the battery, starter and ignition switch and that car didn't start untill I gave it a jump.
Does the check engine light have some to do with it not starting. What could the problem be.

The vehicle not running, the CEL is on. It will turn off once the vehicle is running. Check your fusible link on the positive terminal. Make sure that the terminal is not corroded and making a good, tight connection.

Next you will need to check the relay/fuse box, right front fender for a 30A fuse "H" and the inhibitor relay.
