Hi, I warmed my frontier up Sat. Morning. Went out and the fuel gauge read E(with the light on).I shut the truck off and re-started and the gauge went back to 3/4 tank full. Drove all day and re-fueled. The fuel gauge read E again. Re-start and remained on E. Drove home and still remained on E. Re-start and still remained on E and then the check engine light came on. I checked my fuses and they seem to be ok. The truck ran fine. No warning signs of any problems. Do you think the float is stuck in the fuel tank? What do you think? Thanks

I had the same problem and it started around the same mileage as yours. I think what you will find is that the fuel sending unit has gone bad. That is a costly repair and I did not find a after market one. I hope this helps. I also have the same year model 2006.
