Computer problem
2005 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive
The "gas door open" light has been on constantly for about a month or so. I have checked & double checked the gas cap to make sure it is completely closed-it clicks when it's closed all the way, so I know it's closed! I took it to a mechanic for another problem (a small fuel system leak) and he swears that he always sees this light on with all Altima's. I don't think he's right. A friend who is going to school to be a mechanic said that I probably need a new gas cap. Is she correct??
