2 questions.
First I have 123000 miles on my car and I was wondering if it is necessary for me to change the timing belt/chain asap? Or can it wait til I hear noises?
Question #2.I have a weird sound coming from I think my air conditioning compressor. When I stop at red lights or put my foot on the break and my air condition is on I hear a terrible vibrating noise comes from my engine area. What could this be?

Hi there,

You have a timing chain, there is no service interval for chains, at some stage well down the road more than likely the head will have to come off, it can be inspected then, ther eis no need to worry about this, as for the A/C noise, have the belt idler pulley bearing inspected this will be the most probable cause.
