My car makes this loud whistling noise. The sound comes from the rear. When I step on the breaks it stops. It does not matter what speed - the whistle is consistent and increases as I speed up. I took it to Firestone they told me that they dont hear anything, but the noise is heard by other passengers. What is wrong with my car? How much will it cost to make the noise stop? What caused this problem?

Thanks

Hi there,

You will have to take it to a mechanic that is not deaf... Take them for a drive and point out the noise, that way there is no excuse, a mechanic will have to hear this one to diagnose it for you.
