Engine Performance problem
1999 Nissan Altima Automatic 200000 miles

it was working fine and then i went to my moms and it started acting really strange. It happened when i stopped at a stop sign and the accelerated. it kept spuddering like i was running out of gas and it wouldnt go over 40-50 without doing that same thing. i have no idea about cars. the air conditioning stopped blowing cold air as well. thats all i remember..oh and the windows seemed to roll up slowly like the battery was dieing.

Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

Dirty or worn spark plugs
Bad plug wires
Weak ignition coil
Wet plug wires
