Engine Cooling problem
1996 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

The hose that connect from the radiator to the engine broke off from the radiator end. The hose is fine, just that end from the radiator is broken. Can that be repair or do I have to change the radiator?

You can probably use JB Weld to put the two pieces back together, but keep in mind, though. You have to clamp the radiator hose onto the broken piece, I doubt that the weld can hold the pressure from the clamp. Another option is to take the radiator to a repair shop for them to put a new water outlet onto the radiator to replace the broken one, but you have to weigh the cost of repair to the cost of a "used" radiator from a wrecking yard to a new one.
